It's almost time to celebrate your learning!

Mr. B has just informed me that the morning of Thursday, May 28 will be FINAL EXAMS for all strings students.  This includes all levels, all instruments.  THERE IS NO ESCAPE.  Well, actually there might be.  If you are involved in district track and field, that event is also taking place on May 28th.  So,  obviously you are an athlete and get to skip the final.  JUST KIDDING.

If you are involved in track, you must see Mr. B as soon as possible to arrange a re-write time.

Upcoming Events

It's hard to believe we are almost a week into May already!  It is time to be focused on practicing for our year-end concert which will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m. for band, choir, and orchestra students.  Mark the dates on your calendars so that you can invite your family and friends to come join you in celebrating all the musical progress you have made this year!

On the science front, Mr. B and Mr. C are cooking up a half-day field trip for the grade 7s and 8s to the Conservation Learning Centre.   More details will be announced as they are finalized.
UPDATE:  I am told this is now planned for the morning of Monday, June 15 - so brace yourselves for a great science-y time with two outdoorsy teachers!
